Combine Fossilized Fish with Fossilized Drake to restore Dracovish.

Combine Fossilized Fish with Fossilized Dino to restore Arctovish.

Choice Context

Dracovish is the strongest general-purpose choice. Dracozolt is the next most straightforward offensive option.

All four are revived at level 10 and need substantial training when first obtained.

Usually easiest for a normal story playthrough: Fossilized Fish + Fossilized Drake.

Dracovish

Bulky physical Water attacker.

Dracovish is the most broadly useful Galar fossil. Its Water/Dragon typing has few weaknesses, and Strong Jaw makes Fishious Rend devastating when Dracovish moves first. It still begins at level 10 and does not learn Fishious Rend until late.

Use reliable physical Water and Dark coverage while training it. Once Fishious Rend is available, prioritize moving first through levels, speed control, or held items.

The safest general recommendation among the four Galar combinations.

Arctovish

Slow, bulky Water/Ice attacker.

Arctovish is sturdy and has useful Water and Ice coverage, but its low Speed makes Fishious Rend harder to maximize and its typing creates several common weaknesses.

Treat it as a bulky coverage attacker. It benefits from speed control but does not depend on it as heavily if used defensively.

Functional, but usually the least convenient Galar fossil for a straightforward playthrough.
