Evolution Chain

Spritzee evolves into Aromatisse by trading while holding a Sachet.

Aromatisse Playthrough, Competitive, and Nuzlocke Usage

Using Aromatisse in a Playthrough

Spritzee evolves into Aromatisse when traded while holding a Sachet, so access to trading is the largest practical obstacle to using the final form in many playthroughs. Aromatisse is a pure Fairy Pokemon with base 101 HP, 99 Special Attack, 89 Special Defense, and only base 29 Speed. Moonblast, Draining Kiss, Psychic, Calm Mind, Nasty Plot in later generations, Wish, Aromatherapy or Heal Bell in applicable games, and Trick Room let it function as either a slow bulky attacker or team supporter. Healer has a chance to cure an ally's status condition at the end of a turn in doubles, while Aroma Veil protects Aromatisse and its allies from disruption such as Taunt, Encore, Disable, Heal Block, Torment, and Attract. Its extremely low Speed is an advantage under Trick Room, where a Quiet nature can let it attack before far faster opponents. Pure Fairy grants a Dragon immunity and resistances to Fighting, Bug, and Dark, with only Poison and Steel weaknesses. Calm, Bold, or Quiet are all useful depending on whether the role is special wall, mixed support, or Trick Room attacker.

Aromatisse in Competitive Pokémon

Aromatisse has spent most of its competitive history in lower tiers, but it has several distinctive strengths. Base 101 HP, respectable mixed bulk, pure Fairy typing, Wish, cleric support, and Aroma Veil make it difficult for conventional Taunt or Encore users to shut down, allowing it to support teammates or set Trick Room more reliably than many slow support Pokemon. In later lower-tier formats it also developed offensive Trick Room and Nasty Plot sets, using base 29 Speed as an advantage and Moonblast plus Psychic coverage to pressure offensive teams. Smogon has highlighted Aroma Veil as one of its defining features because it prevents common disruption aimed at Wish passers or setup Pokemon. Aromatisse's limitations are equally clear: base 99 Special Attack usually needs setup to sweep, physical Defense is only base 72, and Poison- and Steel-types can force it out. It is therefore most successful as a bulky role-compression Fairy rather than as a standalone offensive centerpiece.

Aromatisse in Nuzlockes

Aromatisse is very safe against many special and Dragon-type opponents because pure Fairy typing, base 101 HP, and good Special Defense give it substantial staying power. Wish, Draining Kiss, or other recovery options can extend that longevity, while Aroma Veil prevents several annoying control effects from stopping its support moves. Its base 29 Speed means it almost always takes a hit before moving outside Trick Room, so strong physical Poison or Steel attacks should be treated very carefully. Trick Room can reverse that disadvantage and make Aromatisse surprisingly effective as a slow sweeper or team enabler. The biggest practical issue is the trade evolution: if trading a Sachet-holding Spritzee is not allowed or possible, the player may be forced to use the substantially weaker unevolved form.

Aromatisse Biology and Behavior

Aromatisse can deliberately produce an enormous range of odors, from pleasant fragrances that encourage allies to smells so foul that opponents lose the will to fight. The scent from its fur is so intense that Trainers and companions exposed for long periods can gradually lose sensitivity to smell. This ability makes Aromatisse both a supporter and a deterrent depending on which aroma it chooses to release. Its biology therefore expands Spritzee's perfume-like scent control into a much more powerful chemical defense and communication system.

How is visual size determined?

Pokédex height is treated as the official listed measurement, but the chart uses pose-aware visual scaling so each sprite looks reasonable in a direct comparison.

For long or coiled Pokémon, the listed height may represent total body length rather than upright height. For Pokémon with floppy ears, leaves, feathers, antennae, wings, or other flexible features, the chart usually measures to the top of the solid, substantial part of the head or body instead of the tallest decorative feature.

The goal is not to replace the official height, but to make the artwork compare naturally at the size it appears to occupy.

Aromatisse currently uses a pose-adjusted visual scale.
