Forms

Landorus Therian Playthrough, Competitive, and Nuzlocke Usage

Using Landorus Therian in a Playthrough

Landorus is a Ground/Flying Legendary with two formes changed using the Reveal Glass. Incarnate Forme has base 125 Attack, 115 Special Attack, and 101 Speed; Sand Force boosts Ground-, Rock-, and Steel-type moves in sand, while the Hidden Ability Sheer Force boosts attacks with secondary effects by 30 percent and removes those effects. Earthquake or Earth Power, Stone Edge or Rock Slide, Sludge Wave in later games, Psychic, U-turn, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, and Rock Polish give it excellent mixed flexibility. Therian Forme shifts to base 145 Attack and base 91 Speed while gaining Intimidate, making it a much stronger physical pivot and defensive utility Pokemon. Ground/Flying grants complete Electric and Ground immunities and resists Fighting, Bug, and Poison, but Water is super effective and Ice deals quadruple damage. Jolly or Naive suit Incarnate offense, while Jolly, Adamant, Impish, or Careful are all reasonable for different Therian roles.

Landorus Therian in Competitive Pokémon

Landorus has one of the most important competitive histories of any Generation V Pokemon. Incarnate Landorus is currently classified in BW Ubers, where Sand Force and especially Sheer Force can turn its mixed offensive stats into extremely difficult-to-wall sets using Earth Power, Rock coverage, Psychic, Swords Dance, or Rock Polish. Therian Landorus, by contrast, became an enduring OU centerpiece almost immediately: base 145 Attack, Intimidate, Ground/Flying typing, Stealth Rock, U-turn, Knock Off, Defog in relevant generations, and broad coverage allow it to compress physical checking, hazard support, pivoting, and wallbreaking into one team slot. Smogon repeatedly describes Landorus-T as one of the most versatile Pokemon in OU, and its influence persisted through several generations of singles and doubles. The main universal weakness is Ice, which deals quadruple damage to either forme, while bulky Water-types can also force difficult decisions.

Landorus Therian in Nuzlockes

Landorus is extremely useful in Nuzlockes because both formes provide complete Electric and Ground immunities and strong offensive pressure. Incarnate Forme is the faster and more flexible attacker, but Therian Forme is generally safer because Intimidate immediately reduces opposing physical Attack whenever it enters battle. U-turn allows Therian Landorus to preserve momentum while leaving dangerous matchups, and Stealth Rock can support the entire team without requiring prolonged exposure. Ice attacks are the critical danger because they deal quadruple damage, and strong Water moves also hit super effectively. Jolly or Impish Therian Landorus can be especially safe when used as an Intimidate pivot rather than as an all-purpose tank.

Landorus Therian Biology and Behavior

Therian Landorus takes on a lean, quadrupedal, feline-like body and is suspected to represent the species' true form, revealed through the Reveal Glass. It can cross an entire region such as Hisui in only a few hours and travels over oceans while searching for suitable regions in which to reside. Its association with fertility and land remains unchanged from the Incarnate Forme. The form is also associated with the mysterious Interdream Zone.

How is visual size determined?

Pokédex height is treated as the official listed measurement, but the chart uses pose-aware visual scaling so each sprite looks reasonable in a direct comparison.

For long or coiled Pokémon, the listed height may represent total body length rather than upright height. For Pokémon with floppy ears, leaves, feathers, antennae, wings, or other flexible features, the chart usually measures to the top of the solid, substantial part of the head or body instead of the tallest decorative feature.

The goal is not to replace the official height, but to make the artwork compare naturally at the size it appears to occupy.
