Terrakion Playthrough, Competitive, and Nuzlocke Usage
Using Terrakion in a Playthrough
Terrakion is a single-stage Rock/Fighting Legendary built for immediate physical offense, with base 129 Attack, 108 Speed, and balanced 91/90/90 bulk. Close Combat and Stone Edge provide extraordinarily strong dual STAB, while Sacred Sword, Rock Slide, Earthquake, X-Scissor, Swords Dance, Rock Polish, and later coverage support wallbreaking or sweeping. Justified raises Attack by one stage after Terrakion is hit by a Dark-type move, and Dark itself is resisted, making carefully planned switches potentially rewarding. The typing is offensively excellent but defensively awkward, leaving weaknesses to Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Psychic, Steel, and later Fairy. Stone Edge's 80 percent accuracy and Close Combat's defensive drops create real story-play risk, so Rock Slide and Sacred Sword can be safer alternatives when their lower power is sufficient. Jolly is usually ideal because base 108 Speed is excellent and preserving that advantage prevents many retaliations.
Terrakion in Competitive Pokémon
Terrakion was one of the best offensive Pokemon in BW OU. Base 129 Attack, 108 Speed, and Rock/Fighting STAB give it near-unresisted offensive coverage, allowing Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Swords Dance, Rock Polish, and even double-boosting sets to all threaten serious damage. Smogon characterized it as one of the generation's premier wallbreakers and revenge killers, with Choice Scarf sets also finding meaningful use in Ubers. Terrakion was similarly prominent in early VGC, where Rock Slide could pressure both opponents at once and Close Combat provided enormous single-target damage. Its many defensive weaknesses prevent it from switching freely, and Stone Edge accuracy can betray even favorable positions, but the raw offensive package is strong enough that those weaknesses rarely erased its value. Few Fighting-types have matched Terrakion's combination of immediate power, Speed, and flexible boosting options.
Terrakion in Nuzlockes
Terrakion is extremely powerful in Nuzlockes but requires more care than its balanced defensive stats might suggest because it has many common weaknesses. Base 108 Speed and 129 Attack often allow it to remove threats before they act, while Justified can reward a predicted Dark move with an Attack boost. Close Combat should be used carefully because every use lowers both defenses, and Stone Edge's imperfect accuracy makes Rock Slide the safer choice whenever the lower power still secures the knockout. Sacred Sword is especially useful against opponents that have raised their Defense because it ignores those stat boosts without lowering Terrakion's own defenses. Jolly is generally the safest nature, and Terrakion performs best when treated as an attacker that avoids hits rather than a bulky Legendary that can absorb anything.

Terrakion Biology and Behavior
Terrakion is the physically strongest member of the Swords of Justice and is associated with extraordinary destructive force. Legend claims it can smash through a massive castle wall with a single blow. During the ancient forest fire that drove the Swords of Justice to oppose humans, Terrakion used its strength to reshape the ground and open an escape path for trapped Pokemon. Its role within the group is therefore less about leadership than about raw strength and direct physical protection.

Terrakion Size Comparison: BETA
Terrakion is listed at 6' 3" (1.9 m); this chart uses a pose-adjusted visual scale.

How is visual size determined?
Pokédex height is treated as the official listed measurement, but the chart uses pose-aware visual scaling so each sprite looks reasonable in a direct comparison.
For long or coiled Pokémon, the listed height may represent total body length rather than upright height. For Pokémon with floppy ears, leaves, feathers, antennae, wings, or other flexible features, the chart usually measures to the top of the solid, substantial part of the head or body instead of the tallest decorative feature.
The goal is not to replace the official height, but to make the artwork compare naturally at the size it appears to occupy.
Terrakion currently uses a pose-adjusted visual scale.
