Meditite Playthrough, Competitive, and Nuzlocke Usage
Using Meditite in a Playthrough
Meditite evolves into Medicham at level 37, producing a Fighting/Psychic Pokemon whose modest-looking Attack stat is transformed by Pure Power in traditional ability-based games. Pure Power doubles the actual Attack stat, allowing Medicham to hit dramatically harder than its base numbers suggest and making physical Fighting attacks especially effective from its debut. In Generation III, Fighting attacks are physical but Psychic attacks are special, so Medicham's main Psychic STAB does not benefit from Pure Power; the Generation IV physical/special split improves the line by adding physical Psychic options such as Psycho Cut and Zen Headbutt. High Jump Kick, Drain Punch, elemental punches, Fake Out, Bullet Punch, and broad coverage can make Medicham a powerful physical attacker, although base 80 Speed and only moderate 60/75/75 bulk require careful switching. Mega Medicham becomes an even more devastating wallbreaker in generations where Mega Evolution and Pure Power operate together, substantially improving both Speed and offensive pressure without solving its fundamental fragility.
Meditite in Competitive Pokémon
Medicham has always been defined competitively by Pure Power, which doubles its Attack and lets an otherwise unremarkable base-stat total produce extraordinary physical damage. Standard Medicham has repeatedly found lower-tier wallbreaking roles with High Jump Kick, Psycho Cut or Zen Headbutt, elemental punches, Fake Out, and priority, but its merely average Speed and modest bulk prevent it from switching into attacks freely. Mega Medicham raised that formula to OU level: in XY and Sun and Moon, Pure Power combined with improved Attack and base 100 Speed to make it one of the format's most feared physical wallbreakers. High Jump Kick can devastate even bulky neutral targets, while Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Zen Headbutt, Fake Out, and Bullet Punch make defensive prediction difficult. Its weaknesses are equally clear - frailty, faster offensive Pokemon, bulky Psychic-type answers, contact punishment, and the catastrophic crash damage caused when High Jump Kick fails - so Mega Medicham rewards aggressive positioning rather than defensive play.
Meditite in Nuzlockes
Meditite and Medicham can be very powerful Nuzlocke Pokemon because Pure Power supplies far more physical damage than their raw Attack stats suggest, allowing favorable battles to end before the opponent accumulates dangerous damage. Fighting/Psychic typing provides useful Fighting and Rock resistances but leaves the line vulnerable to Flying and Ghost attacks, with Fairy becoming an additional weakness from Generation VI onward. The evolution level of 37 is relatively late, so Meditite must be trained carefully through a long period of mediocre bulk before reaching Medicham. High Jump Kick is especially dangerous in permadeath play because a miss, immunity, Protect, or other failure can inflict enormous crash damage, making safer Fighting moves preferable whenever their power is sufficient. Mega Medicham is exceptionally strong where available, but even the Mega form remains frail enough that it should enter battle through resistances, safe switches, or predicted non-damaging turns rather than absorbing powerful neutral hits.

Meditite Biology and Behavior
Meditite lives and trains in remote mountains, practicing yoga and meditation for hours every day in an attempt to sharpen its spiritual power. The discipline includes severe dietary restriction: an individual survives on only one Berry each day, deliberately using hunger as part of the training that strengthens its senses and resolve. Meditation can heighten its inner energy enough to lift the body into the air, making levitation a direct result of mental conditioning rather than ordinary flight. Despite this dedication, Meditite repeatedly loses concentration while meditating, so its training is described as never truly ending; failure to achieve perfect focus simply becomes the reason to begin again the next day.

Meditite Size Comparison: BETA
Meditite is listed at 2' 0" (0.6 m) and shown in an in-chart visual comparison.

How is visual size determined?
Pokédex height is treated as the official listed measurement, but the chart uses pose-aware visual scaling so each sprite looks reasonable in a direct comparison.
For long or coiled Pokémon, the listed height may represent total body length rather than upright height. For Pokémon with floppy ears, leaves, feathers, antennae, wings, or other flexible features, the chart usually measures to the top of the solid, substantial part of the head or body instead of the tallest decorative feature.
The goal is not to replace the official height, but to make the artwork compare naturally at the size it appears to occupy.
